About the Export-Import Bank

Established in 1934 with the mission is to create and sustain jobs by increasing U.S. export sales, EXIM is an independent U.S. Government Agency that offers direct credit and export credit insurance to supplement and facilitate private sector financing of U.S. foreign trade. Bio of Ms. Searles

Julia Searles is a Business Development Specialist for the Minority and Women Owned Business Division (MWOB) in the Office of Small Business at the EX-IM Bank. She also works with the Bank’s Regional Export Promotion Program (REPP) bringing together state, local, non-profit economic development entities to expand and promote trade opportunities for U.S. Exporters.

Prior to working with MWOB, Julia served as principal assistant to members on the Board of Directors, and has worked in several other divisions throughout the Bank. She has been with EXIM for more than 14 years.
